Author and cultural theorist Elisabeth Bronfen, and Middle East specialist Richard C. Schneider discuss the BBC series “The Honourable Woman”. Nessa Stein, the show's main protagonist is the heiress of a large defense contractor. Following her father's murder, she transforms the company to a charity organization working to install fiber optic cables in the West Bank. Yet political and interpersonal intrigues run too deep for the protagonists to reach simple solutions to complex situations.
